The Forum for Educational Change (FECH) is pleased to announce the third edition of the Advanced Training “Stronger Student Union”, a four-day programme dedicated to empowering student activists across North Macedonia to become stronger voices for students’ rights and integrity in higher education. The third edition of the Advanced Training “Stronger Student Union” will take place from 2–5 October 2025.
Since 2023, more than 50 student activists from universities across the country have taken part in this programme, gaining valuable knowledge and practical skills in combating corruption, strengthening advocacy, and enhancing communication. Building on this success, Stronger Student Union Vol. 3 introduces a structured three-pillar methodology designed to equip motivated students with the tools to Expose → Communicate → Advocate and create a lasting impact within the academic community.
What you will learn
The training focuses on three core pillars that are essential for effective student engagement:

Accountability and Oversight – How to monitor and address corruption, academic dishonesty, and violations of student rights using practical tools and ethical methods.

Strategic Communication – How to communicate findings effectively with stakeholders, design campaigns, strengthen media relations, and ensure your voice is heard.

Advocacy and Policy-Making – How to move from identifying problems to proposing solutions through policy briefs, advocacy strategies, and constructive dialogue with institutions.
Practical Outcome
Participants will work in teams to design initiatives addressing real challenges in higher education. Selected projects will receive a symbolic budget for implementation, supporting activities such as awareness campaigns, monitoring projects, or initiatives promoting integrity and student rights.

Who can apply?
The call is open to students from all universities in North Macedonia, regardless of field of study or level of prior experience. Applicants should demonstrate motivation, commitment, and interest in contributing to positive change in higher education.
