We are excited to announce that Student Forum Vol. 2 – Get up, Stand up! will take place on May 9–10, 2025, at CoWork21 in Skopje, North Macedonia.
Building on the success of the first edition of the Student Forum—where we turned the vision of a national student body into reality by establishing the largest formal student body in North Macedonia and adopting the Student Rights Charter and the Student Resolution—Student Forum Vol. 2 is ready to raise the bar.
This year, we’re bringing together students from across the region to strengthen solidarity, exchange ideas, and tackle common challenges in higher education and youth participation. The forum will continue to serve as a powerful platform for shaping student voices, promoting democratic values, and driving change in our universities and communities.
This year, Student Forum Vol. 2 is going bigger and bolder—with a two-day program designed to spark action, ideas, and change.
On May 9, we’re kicking things off with three hands-on workshops, led by some of the most inspiring trainers and experts in the country. Forget long panels—this is about real talk, real tools, and real impact.

- Workshop 3: Expose to Empower – How Journalism Fights Corruption
May 10 is all about connection, conversation, and collaboration—and yeah, it’s going to be a lot of fun.
Students from all over the region will come together to share stories, ideas, and some good laughs, too. We’re making sure this isn’t just another conference—you won’t be sitting quietly in the back. This year’s forum is all about interaction and real talk.
Fireside Chat: Education at a Crossroads
An open, no-filter conversation where everyone in the room gets to speak up. Got thoughts on how education systems are failing us—or how we can fix them? This is your moment.
We’ll also hear from representatives of the National Student Body, created last year right here at the Forum! They’ll walk us through what’s been done so far and open the floor for discussion: What’s next, and how can we all do better?
We’re also tackling some of the big questions through two powerful plenary sessions:
- Plenary Session 1: The Power and Struggles of Student Activism in the Regional Context
Let’s talk organizing, resisting, and thriving—together. - Plenary Session 2: Student Advocacy vs. Institutional Barriers – The Fight for Recognition
Because fighting for your rights shouldn’t feel like pushing a boulder uphill.
We’ll close the forum by presenting and adopting this year’s Student Resolution—a collective voice for change, built from everything we’ve shared and shaped over both days.
